Birutė Daujotė's painting exhibition "Maybe see you in town?"

I am Birutė Daujotė, I come from the town of Seiriju, now I live in the capital. Painting is not my main activity, it's just a beloved hobby, because I myself am a dentist. I have been interested in painting and art since I was a child, as long as I can remember. However, I fell into the professional environment of painting for the first time more than 8 years ago, when I started studying at the art studio of Gražina and Valentina Ajauskės in Užupi, they are well-known artists in Lithuania.
During that period and until now, I have painted a number of paintings on the theme of the city and nature, some of which we present in this exhibition, although now I have become more fond of a more modern style of painting.
I devote time to painting between work and travel, but each painting is definitely not born in one or two weeks, in the end, even though it is finished, I still want to improve something, fix it.
Not all paintings succeed, I don't complete the task I set for myself, but you can always take a new canvas and start again. It is always nice to return to Dzūkija with your works.
