On April 11, at 10 a.m., the Dzūkija regional round of the Lithuanian children and schoolchildren's and students' competition "Tramtatulis" - Lithuanian folk performers - will take place in the Lazdijai Culture House. Laureates of local rounds from all corners of Southern Lithuania will compete in it - we will hear and see the best young performers of folk songs, spoken word and instrumental music. The winners of the Dzūkija regional round will travel to the national round of the competition, which will be held in Kaunas on May 10–11, 2025.

The "Tramtatulis" competition is a unique event designed to foster ethnic traditions, encourage the younger generation to become interested in Lithuanian folk art, and develop young performers of folk songs, spoken word, and instrumental music. This year, the event is dedicated to the Year of Lithuanian Folk Songs and the 200th anniversary of the first collection of Lithuanian folk songs compiled by Liudvikas Rėza.
