On January 24–26, the Lazdijai Tourism Information Center, the Lazdijai Cultural Center and the Lazdijai Regional Museum participated in the international tourism exhibition ADVENTUR 2025. At this exhibition, the Lazdijai region attracted special attention from visitors, presenting its unique tourism and cultural heritage. The theme of Jotvingia was chosen for the presentation of the tourism and cultural resources of the Lazdijai region, which became the main highlight of this year. The stand with the slogan “Veizėk, kaštavok, dzykavok in Lazdijai” stood out for its creativity and authenticity, attracting crowds of visitors of all ages. The exhibition design, full of historical details, installed by the employees of the Lazdijai Cultural Center, provided visitors with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the heritage of the region and the history of Jotvingia. The exhibition presented the Jotvingiai Road – a special project of the Lazdijai region, which is rich in cultural and natural heritage objects. This route includes hillforts located near the most beautiful lakes in the region, historical sites, cultural heritage sites, educational programs and recreational opportunities. It is worth noting that the creation of the Jotvingiai Road in the Alytus region was initiated by the Lazdijai, and projects are currently being actively implemented to develop this road on the Lithuanian-Polish border. Participation in ADVENTUR 2025 was not only an example of the unity of the Lazdijai region institutions, but also an example of successful cooperation, proving that by working together we can achieve significant results. The presentation of the Lazdijai region revealed the rich cultural heritage of the region and its potential to become an even more attractive tourism destination. Lazdijai TIC, cultural center and museum thanks everyone who contributed to the implementation of this project and invites everyone to visit the Jotvingiai Road, discover the history of the region and experience unforgettable impressions!
