On the occasion of European Heritage Days and European Mobility Week, we invite you to participate in our game in order to promote car-free mobility and get to know heritage sites! (The game will take place on the facebook account of the Lazdijai tourism information center ( https://www.facebook.com/Lazdijai.turizmas ). All you need to do is go to 2 objects with a bicycle, familiarize yourself with these objects and take a picture of them (the photo must be a visible object and bike) and upload photos under the post on your Facebook account. One of you will win a prize! The game will take place on September 18 from 08:00 to 20:00.
Objects that we offer to visit and location for photography:
• Lazdijai - Freedom Struggle Museum, Motiejas Gustaitis Memorial House;
• In Veisiejai – the grand piano of the former Veisiejai manor, the former Veisiejai beit midrash;
• In Šeštokai - the old building of the Šeštokai railway station, the site of the Battle of Kalniškės;
• In Seirijai - neofresco Sienos primena in Seirijai (Metelio st. 8), Seiriju St. Church of the Virgin Mary Shkaplierinė;
• In Kapčiamiestis - Church of Divine Providence in Kapčiamiestis, monument of Emilija Pliaterytė (1806–1831)
• In Krosno - St. Church of St. Matthew the Apostle, place of battles and deaths of Lithuanian partisans (Vytautiškės village)
