On May 10, continuing the long-standing tradition, the Lazdijai Tourism Information Center invited the representatives of the tourism sector of the Lazdijai region to the opening event of the summer season - an excursion. The weather was not kind this time, but the mood was great. During the tour, we visited Trakai St. Basilica of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, Trakai Island Castle, Užutrakis Manor, Aukštadvaris Regional Park Visitor Center, Devil's Pit, Aukštadvaris Verknė Old Thief Spring. The objects we visited impressed us, but we paid the most attention to the culture of service and the inspiration of new ideas. During the tour, we were convinced once again how inclusively and enthusiastically one can present one's region, how important everyone's role is when working in the tourism sector, and that each of us is and can be ambassadors of our region. Thank you to the representatives of the Lazdijai district municipality who accompanied us on this trip. We wish everyone a very successful upcoming tourism season!
