General information for unclassified accommodation providers

Unclassified accommodation services may be provided by an accommodation service provider included in the list of unclassified accommodation service providers in accordance with the procedure established in Article 34 of the Law on Tourism.

A provider of unclassified accommodation services must submit to the Authority a notification in the prescribed form regarding the provision of unclassified accommodation services (hereinafter referred to as the Notification). Notification form ( legal entity , natural person )

No state fee is set for the registration of unclassified accommodation service providers.

A signed and scanned Notice of Provision of Accommodation Services can be submitted to the Service:

  • by e-mail – ieva.vitkauskiene@vvtat.lt or irena.leleiviene@vvtat.lt .
  • by mail – to the Tourism Market Supervision Department of the State Consumer Rights Protection Service, A. Goštauto St. 12, 01108 Vilnius.
  • directly – A. Goštauto St. 12, Vilnius (arrival time must be arranged in advance).

Providers of unclassified accommodation services are included in the List of Unclassified Accommodation Service Providers, which is published on the website of the Service and in the Licensing Information System www.licencijavimas.lt .

PLEASE NOTE THAT:

  • If the provision of accommodation services is terminated (suspended) or the data provided in the Notification or Application changes (the service provider, its legal form, legal status, address or other data have changed), the accommodation service provider must inform the Service within 10 working days from the moment when this information became or should have become known to it.
  • When publicly publishing information about the services provided, an accommodation service provider may only use the name of the type of accommodation service that is registered or for which a classification certificate has been issued (e.g., after registering apartment services, the facility cannot be called a guest house).
