in 1950 on December 18 - during the military-chekist operation, the former 2 partisans from the homeland of Mindaugas of Šarūnas district of Dainava district were killed in a bunker set up by partisans in Vincos Draždžiulis farm alksnyne (Strumbagalves km.): Gediminas Surdokas - Vairas; Vytautas Griškonis - Žynys.
March 17, 1945 In the Muckaus homestead, Strumbagalve village, Lazdija district, a group of partisans was discovered by the soldiers of the 94th border detachment of the NKVD army together with the NKVD Seinų district. Rudamina vlsč. sub-division stragglers. 12 partisans of the Mindaugas group of Šarūnas national team were killed - Leonas Kliukinskas-Levas, Antanas Miknevičius, Jurgis Misiukevičius, Viktoras Trečiokas-Liūtas, Jonas Zimnickas and the homesteader Jonas Muckus. Partisans were despised in Lazdijai. After the restoration of Lithuania's independence, the remains were moved from the burial place to the Lazdijai cemetery.
