in 2008 a monument to the people of Būdvietis region, who suffered during the Lithuanian occupations in 1795-1918, was unveiled. and 1940-1981. (for booksellers, political prisoners, exiles, partisans...). The construction of the monument was initiated by Benjamin Kaluškevičius, built by the Kaluškevičius and Bansevičius families. Next to the monument, there is a memorial room in the house of the bookseller Jonas Kaluškevičius (now T. Jotautienė).
