On 12/21/1945, in the village of Paserninkai, at the intersection of the Majauskai homestead and the road, the joint squad of Antanas Grušauskas-Siaubs of A. Juozapavičiaus's group of Šarūnas, Dainava district killed 7 Chekists in a battle (the deputy head of the NKVD Seiriju division for the militia, Taranov, the NKVD commissioner Aleksas, Stribus). The partisans collected three machine guns, two submachine guns, two rifles, and an NKVD stamp, and left without any losses.
