On the occasion of the European Mobility Week, to encourage people to move without a car, today we went on a walking tour in the city of Lazdiju "Drauge per Lazdiju" . We visited Ramanuska - Hawk Square, St. Anna's church, the neo-fresco "Forest king-forest brothers", M. Gustaitis memorial house, Independence Square. The hiking trail is adapted for people with disabilities.
On September 16-22, European Mobility Week is taking place across Europe!
This is an international initiative aimed at increasing the awareness of residents about sustainable mobility in the city and changing their travel habits, encouraging them to choose alternatives to cars as often as possible for daily trips: micromobility devices, bicycles, public transport, walking more or using sharing services, thus protecting our planet.
